TEMPE, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer attended team meetings Tuesday morning as he continued to recover from a concussion he suffered in Sundays loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but the possibility he plays Thursday at San Francisco is still up in the air.Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Palmer was going through the offense mentally; the quarterback missed his second straight day of practice on Tuesday. Arians told Bay Area reporters that Palmer looked good after meeting with him on Tuesday morning. After practice, Arians said Palmer is still in the concussion protocol and continues to take tests.Arians was asked if theres enough time for Palmer to get cleared through the NFLs concussion protocol in time for Thursdays game.I think theres a chance, Arians said.Arians wont be the one deciding if Palmer can fly to the Bay Area on Wednesday, when the team leaves Arizona. Thatll be decided by team doctors, Arians said. But on Tuesday, the Cardinals made a move that signals a good possibility that Palmer may not play: Quarterback Zac Dysert was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. Arians described Dysert as very accurate and said he picked up the offense really quick. The Cardinals now have three quarterbacks on their roster, with Drew Stanton as Palmers backup.Palmer suffered the concussion on a hit late in the fourth quarter. He made strides Sunday night, Arians said, but didnt practice Monday.Arizona put safety Tyvon Branch and running back Chris Johnson on injured reserve Tuesday after both suffered groin injuries in Sundays loss.Arians said both players will undergo hernia surgery, but he wasnt sure when those procedures will take place. Arizona also waived punter Drew Butler, who has been dealing with a severely sprained ankle; Butler received an injury settlement. In corresponding moves, Arizona promoted wide receiver Brittan Golden to the active roster and re-signed running back Kerwynn Williams. Casemiro Brazil Jersey . Once I got through that and got on the medicine, started talking with people who had some of the same experiences, things got better. Things are going a lot better right now. The?New York Yankees, having seen Strawberrys comments to the Daily News, have reached out and offered to assist with any treatment the 51-year-old Gooden might need.?A lot of individuals have reached out to me, too, but for the Yankees to show that type of support to Doc, Im very grateful to them for that, Strawberry told the Daily News.Ron Dock, Goodens former drug counselor, also told the Daily News that the Yankees reached out in an effort to help Gooden, who played for the Yankees and New York Mets during his 16-season career. They said theyre willing to pay for Dwights treeatment, which is a huge gesture on their behalf, Dock told the Daily News.ddddddddddddTheyve always tried to do right by Dwight, going back to George Steinbrenner when he gave him a chance to play again. The Yankees confirmed Tuesday that theyve reached out through others to offer any necessary services or assistance.Gooden?told the Daily News earlier Tuesday that he wasnt using drugs again and theres a lot more to the story than you think.Strawberry, who along with Gooden was the subject of ESPNs 30 for 30 documentary Doc & Darryl, appeared on ESPNs Outside the Lines on Tuesday and remained steadfast in his belief that Gooden is again using drugs and said he was aware of it dating back to the documentary. We did a 30 for 30 and already knew there he was using, Strawberry told OTL.
