St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Vladimir Tarasenko scored 4:20 into overtime to lift the St. Louis Blues to a 4-3 comeback win over the Edmonton Oilers. Alex Pietrangelos goal with 7:35 left tied the game to help bail out Blues goaltender Jake Allen, who made 13 saves on just 16 shots. Ben Scrivens faced a barrage of St. Louis shots, stopping 37 of the 41 fired his way. T.J. Oshie started the scoring for the Blues in the first period, and Edmontons David Perron and Nikita Nikitin both scored second-period goals against their former team. Kevin Shattenkirk tied the game 31 seconds into the third period, but Mark Arcobellos goal nearly 3 1/2 minutes later gave the Oilers their second lead of the game. Oshie had three points, and Taylor Hall led Edmonton with two, both assists. Edmonton has now lost nine games in a row, picking up only three points out of a possible 18. The Blues have won six of their last nine games. The Blues could not convert a power play opportunity in overtime, but they managed to beat the Oilers for the 12th time in the last 14 meetings. Tarasenko puck-handled around Edmontons Justin Schultz to create his own shooting lane, and his shot beat Scrivens to get his 13th goal of the season. The Oilers entered the third period with a 2-1 lead, but it did not last long. Only 31 seconds into the period, Shattenkirk ripped a shot through traffic past Scrivens to tie it up for his second goal of the season. They took another lead minutes later. Arcobello beat David Backes crashing the net, and he directed Halls pass across the slot past Allen for his fifth goal of the season to make it a 3-2 game. Pietrangelo tied the game with his second goal this season as the Blues intensified their pressure. An Oshie shot in tight created a rebound, and with Scrivens down in the crease, Pietrangelo was able to pounce on the rebound and wrist it home. The Blues struck first more than halfway through the opening period. Ian Cole connected with Tarasenko with a perfect cross-ice pass, and Tarasenko dropped it off to Oshie trailing the play. He stepped into the shot and fired it over Scrivens shoulder. St. Louis was burned by a pair of former players in the second period. Perron found a soft spot in the St. Louis defense in the high slot, and he wristed a shot by Allen with traffic in front for his third goal this season. Edmonton took its first lead with less than four minutes remaining in the second. Hall found Nikitin sneaking into the play from the blue line and made a cross-ice pass that Nikitin lifted past Allen for his second of the season. I didnt even know the guy was out ... a lot of confidence with Sanchez, a lot of swagger.Sanchez, who also threw two interceptions, missed all of last season after tearing the labrum in his right shoulder in the preseason. He played in the regular season for the first time since Dec. 30, 2012, with the New York Jets. The NFC East-leading Eagles (6-2) completed the scoring with 3:50 left when Maclin grabbed a low throw for an 8-yard catch.Sanchez said he was a bit nervous before the first throw to Maclin. Those butterflies dissolved after that strike. He said it helped that he made his NFL debut at Houston in 2009. He threw for 272 yards and a score in that win. That brought back a lot of good memories, he said.Coach Chip Kelly didnt provide many details about the injury to Foles, saying only: Hes in a sling right now, and thats all I got.Kelly was impressed with Sanchezs performance and raved about the work he puts in every week.I said since Day 1, You better have two quarterbacks in this league, Kelly said. We were fortunate that when Nick did go down that we could bring Mark in. I dont think we missed a beat offensively.Sanchez led the Jets to the AFC Championship game his first two years in the NFL, but was released by the team in March.Being thrust into the game at a moments notice wasnt that big of a deal to the 27-year-old.You just have to stay ready, he said. You never want to get caught off guard so I was just happy I prepared well, happy I was ready and happy I could help the team.Houston dropped to 4-5.Things to know about the Eagles-Texans game:RYANS INJURED: Linebacker DeMeco Ryans, who leads the Eagles witth 45 tackles, was injured.dddddddddddd. He intercepted Ryan Fitzpatricks pass in the fourth quarter, but was injured on the play and fumbled as he fell to the ground.Ryans tore his right Achilles tendon, a person familiar with the injury said. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the Eagles didnt release details of the injury.HAVE MERCY: Houston outside linebacker Whitney Mercilus had a career-high nine tackles with two sacks and three quarterback hits. Mercilus lost his starting job to top overall pick to Jadeveon Clowney in training camp, but has excelled with Clowney missing seven games this season with a knee injury and an illness.Hes played better and better every game, Houston coach Bill OBrien said.MARVELOUS MACLIN: Maclin had two touchdowns and 158 yards receiving after finishing with a career-high 187 yards last week in a loss at Arizona.Maclin missed all of last season after a second ACL surgery. His 59-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter was his third TD of 50 yards or longer this season. When I went down last year, the one thing I told myself was to come back and give myself a chance to be better than what I was, Maclin said. This year I have had my number called quite a bit and all I can do is be reliable for my team. His 345 yards receiving are fourth most in a two-game span in franchise history and the most since Ben Hawkins had 347 in 1967.DEANDRES BIG DAY: Houston receiver DeAndre Hopkins had six receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown for his third 100-yard game this season. Hopkins also recovered Ryans fumble to set up his score in the fourth quarter.MCCOYS 100: LeSean McCoy had 117 yards rushing for his second 100-yard game and surpassed Brian Westbrook for second-most rushing yards in Eagles history with 6,095.McCoy led the NFL with 1,607 yards rushing last season, but got off to a slow start this year before running for 349 yards in the last three games combined. Its weird, he said. Every time I get 100 yards its a big deal. Im used to just doing it.___AP Pro Football Writer Rob Maaddi in Philadelphia contributed to this report.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFLCheap Warriors JerseysAuthentic Cavaliers JerseysCheap Spurs StoreCeltics Jerseys OnlineCheap Bulls JerseysCheap Nets JerseysCheap Thunder JerseysCheap 76ers JerseysCheap Knicks JerseysWholesale Raptors JerseysCyber Monday Pistons JerseysWholesale Team USA Basketball JerseysCheap Celtics JerseysCheap Nets JerseysCheap Knicks JerseysCheap 76ers JerseysRaptors Jerseys From ChinaCheap Bulls JerseysCavaliers Jerseys From ChinaWholesale Pistons JerseysBucks Jerseys From ChinaPacers Jerseys OutletAuthentic Hawks JerseysCheap Hornets JerseysCheap Heat JerseysCheap Magic JerseysAuthentic Wizards JerseysCheap Nuggets JerseysTimberwolves Jerseys OutletWholesale Thunder JerseysCheap Blazers JerseysCheap Jazz JerseysDiscount Warriors JerseysWholesale Clippers JerseysWholesale Lakers JerseysCheap Suns JerseysCheap Kings JerseysDiscount Mavericks JerseysAuthentic Rockets JerseysDiscount Grizzlies JerseysCheap Pelicans JerseysSpurs Jerseys From China ' ' '
