The second interception came on a pass that bounced off Marquise Goodwin’s hands.That final Giants drive was brutal, but there were some positives to take from the game. Matt Breida looks healthy once again, rushing 17 times for 101 yards. George Kittle remains a machine, catching nine passes for 83 yards. Richard Sherman is looking good, mostly shutting down his side aside from a 13-yard Odell Beckham reception and a bad defensive pass interference call.On the other hand, the inconsistency of the pass rush reared its ugly head. Kittle will likely be competing with Zach Ertz for second team All Pro honors. Kittle is better than both as a run blocker, and has emerged as a dynamic pass catcher in his second year. The 49ers hit an absolute home run with their 2017 fifth round pick, and have a core piece around which to build their offense.
